Catapult: Commit – A Methodology to the Madness

Hold yourself accountable.

You must deliberately make the commitment to whatever discipline or decision you have chosen. In order for your individual process as a world-class Corporate Athlete to work, day in and day out, over weeks, months, and years, you must commit to a structure supporting the results you seek.

The structure you commit to is what will transform you from a one-hit wonder, ordinary worker, or hobbyist into a high-performing disruptor. Creativity often dislikes the mundane part of the process: the work and the discipline or the structured and operational part of anything you are trying to achieve.

Yet, you need both creative imagination and structure to succeed in your endeavors. Yin and yang. With both, there is no doubt you will get there.

How you show up to anything, whether a team practice or a team meeting, is a conscious, deliberate choice. This methodology requires Corporate Athletes to make this choice daily—to provide a stable and sound experience, every single time.

Let others hold you accountable to this process. Hold yourself accountable. If you do, you’ll discover that commitment to showing up and practicing structure is the biggest battle—and one well worth the win.
